Given that I have already been on my crutches for two and a half months and still not able to weight-bear there was only one thing for it – time to make them creative. The first thing to do was to use some fabric tape to brighten them up for pure aesthetics, add some snowflake decorations that my friend got me, and then it was time to make the handles a bit easier on the hand with some padded handle covers that are removable and washable (even Ronnie Wood commented on them when I saw him at the hospital.) It might be a niche market but who knows, it may take off!

Off to hobble to my sewing machine now.

Thanks 🙂 hee hee, yes I bumped into Ronnie Wood when I had a hospital appointment – he started chatting to me and said he liked my crutches and that he’d have to get padded handles for his 😉 xx
