We’re into the second week of #the100dayproject, and I think it’s got off to a good start as not only have I finished today’s challenge before 10pm but it’s also an illustration that I needed to finish to send to Our Handmade Collective in Leeds. I just need to add colour now, and apart from the wonky lines which is now synonymous with my style, I’m happy with it given the amount of detail and complexity of Leeds Town Hall. It’s also good to have a bit of a change and I decided this would be a portrait oriented sketch rather than landscape, which contradicts the shape of the building but I’m always looking to draw my ‘As scene by me’ range from views that aren’t expected. What do you think?
