In a change from my usual Friday Faves, as I sit here working surrounded by mountains of fabric I try not to be distracted by the gorgeous colours and patterns that inspire my daily life. This is not an easy task though, so I just had to dedicate a few minutes to choosing a fabric to showcase today:

  1. This mini Japanese style elephant cotton fabric is from My Fabric House¬†and one of my all time faves, I don’t know the name of the fabric or the designer so please leave a comment below if you do
  2. I first bought some of this fabric about 2 years ago, and it soon became one of my bestsellers in my bibs so I have stocked up on more every time I’ve seen it, but I’m now down to my last FQ
  3. The colour combination has an air of sophistication, yet is bright enough to capture the attention of kids and adults alike, and the fact that it can be used ‘upside down’ as well is even better for when I’m cutting out multiple bibs as I can get more out of the fabric, plus it means that baby can see it the right way as well as parents!

If you have bought one of my bibs with this fabric I’d love to see any photos of it in it’s new home or being modelled. Have you made anything with this gorgeous fabric, if so then please feel free to share any photos. There will be a few more bibs featuring these mini elephants in my Etsy shop soon, but feel free to message me if you would like to order one before they are listed.

Have a great Friday and weekend,
