As I’ve just got an iphone (and am now addicted to it!) I thought this week’s Folksy Friday would be technology… I wouldn’t consider myself as technologically minded, although my boyfriend would definitely class himself as a geek, but given the amount of time I spend commuting I think it’s great to be able to draft e-mails/blogs etc without having to wait until I get home, and some of you may notice that I’m on twitter a lot more!!
I’ll be glad of the long weekend, as I already feel like I want to retire, but here are a few of my fave Folksy items to end the long week:
Egoor England –Tetris iphone case (this reminds me of the hours I spent playing tetris on my gameboy when I was younger)
Silverfruit – Silver apple (as most people will agree apple are well known for the aesthetics of their products, and being a designer I’ve had apple macs for years, but this is an apple in a league of it’s own)
Beautiful Skin – Walkman ipod case (I love this – every technological item that catches my eye seems to reference my childhood but then again technology probably dates quicker than most things)
Sew not evil – Adorable android (my boyfriend talks about android a lot, even if he’s incredibly jealous of my new iphone… I think this cheeky chappy should be his mascot)
Emporium of geek – Tweed ipod sleeve (I love the idea of recycling clothes, and this is a great idea – you can guess what is next on my wishlist!)
Have a great bank holiday.
