I find inspiration from anywhere and everywhere around me, day to day for my creativity, but feel especially motivated when I discover something unusual. A while ago we learnt that the Magical Lantern Festival was coming to Leeds and knew that we had to take Harry. Apart from it being -1ºc and not being able to feel my fingers or toes with a cold and tired toddler it was a great event and reminded me of going to Happy Mount Park at Morecombe when Blackpool illuminations were on when I was little. Harry walked the whole way round, which is good going for a 2 year old and there were lots of excited exclamations when he saw something he recognised, mainly Santa and a Chinese Dragon. If it returns next year we would definitely go again, with a few more layers next time.
