After a very stressful evening getting my overlocker out of the box this week (it’s been there over a year as I was too daunted by it) I finally got it working with the help of some tweezers, youtube, a complicated manual, a bit of brute force and my hubby’s support. If you don’t ask me to change any settings and the thread doesn’t snap or run out I might be able to get a few clothes made for Harry as it’s so quick. My concern is that given my name and accidental nature there may be an injury before long, the blade seems very sharp!

They’re far from perfect but here is my first sew with my soon-to-be-best-friend-overlocker and some pyjama bottoms for Harry as it’s something we never seem to have enough of. He’s tall for his age but quite slim so finding PJs that are long and slim enough is tricky, but now I can make him the size that he needs with the help of a Made by Jack’s Mum pattern. I love this fabric as it relates to my husband’s new Press to Jump website dedicated to video game news, the bright colours catch Harry’s attention and the quality of this organic fabric makes me happy.
