Today was the Great Manchester Run, a 10k run that has been a bit of a family tradition on my hubby’s side of the family for many years. It’s been a few years since Dan has done it as we were in London and then Harry arrived last year, but I am very proud to say that he completed it in 54mins, and has raised over £100 for JDRF UK, a charity working towards the hope of a cure for Type 1 diabetes.

Harry’s always going to be cute in my eyes and my perfect model so yesterday I decided to print on an old top to cheer daddy along, and my little man got plenty of smiles and people asking who daddy was running for – I’d say that was a job well done in raising awareness of JDRF. A professional photographer even asked to take some photos of him in front of the Diabetes UK stand but as the cheeky chappy never sits still I’m not sure they will ever be published.
