Happy Mother’s Day! There’s nothing like a baby to give you motivation as a designer¬†and my little boy is not only the perfect inspiration but mummy’s fave model and promoter as well. I think I have had more sales since Harry was born than in the whole 2¬†years previous as it’s a perfect way to get my product range in public view (and free!) but he won’t stay this small for long so I have to sketch and print as fast as I can. Here are a few of my new designs as modelled by Harry on some sleepsuits. Before he was born I noticed there is a serious lack in the market for lovely unisex baby clothes as everything was either pink, blue, white or pale yellow so my animal prints are a perfect way to prove that bold designs don’t have to be gender specific.

I am still trying to work out what kind of clothes are best to print on though as I think sleepsuits are the easiest to put on/take off (long sleeves and legs with poppers down the front) but romper suits are the best for printing (long sleeves and legs but no poppers) but long sleeve bodysuits (no legs) are the easiest to get hold of and can be teamed with trousers or a skirt for a more versatile style. Which is your favourite?
