Not only am I new to my overlocker, which was working like a dream until the needle snapped, but I’m new to using knit/stretch fabric,¬†which is much more expensive than my usual woven/quilters cotton. So, before cutting up my expensive fabric I thought it was a good idea to use my hubby’s old t-shirts to re-purpose them and make mini t-shirts and tops for Harry. I’m a bit biased, but I think they work well with the additional colour and Harry’s cool in daddy’s hand me downs.¬†They make me smile because they remind me of my two fave boys, albeit one 30+ years old than the other. Harry is now going to be dressed in MBJM tops all year round, well that is if I can get my overlocker fixed!
