Now we’re thoroughly back down to earth with a bump after getting back from Florida this morning I thought I’d do a quick post about some of the fab (and crafty) things that we did and saw to remind myself of the all too distant fun in the sun!

Apart from seeing the final launch of the Discovery space shuttle from a bridge 40 miles away, getting inspiration for my next illustration from the local wildlife and generally relaxing in glorious weather there had to be some crafting to be done from my fave seat in the winter sun. As it was my last holiday with my maiden name I had to make the most of my time by the pool  relaxing and making our wedding flowers, with a little help from my family (I won’t mention names incase it ruins their street cred!) I have to say I would have got a lot more done if I’d been able to take wire, scissors and a sewing needle on the 9 hour flight, but we were quite happy watching films in our spacious upgraded seats 🙂

Anyway, I’d better go and finish the ironing so I have space to get the sewing machine out to start the next bit of wedding craft this evening if I can stay awake that long!
