For those of you who don’t know it, today (5th Feb) is Wear It Beat It, a campaign by the British Heart Foundation to ‘fight for every heartbeat and raise money for life saving research.’ By wearing red today there have been lots of fundraising events taking place, and although I haven’t been involved in any of these events myself I did design a last minute poster for a school raising money by wearing red on the last day before half term, and have been making some more PJs and hospital gowns behind the scenes for the Wrap Pyjama Fairies, a charity which started with a little girl in heart failure. There are a few more pairs of PJs and gowns on my sewing table waiting to be put together when work quietens a bit, but until then here are a few of my faves with a hint of red, and if you want to find out more about being a PJ fairy then pop over to their website and get involved.
